Scholarships for Yerevan State University Master Students

Highly appreciating partnership with Yerevan State University and strong commitment to contribute to the excellence of social science research in Armenia, Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC)-Armenia has launched Yerevan State University Scholarship program in 2014. The goal of the program is to encourage young researchers, who make their first steps in social science research. For that purpose, CRRC-Armenia provides single-time financial support to two Master’s students from the departments of Sociology, and Economics and Management to allocate resources for field organization and first-hand high-quality data collection and analysis for their master thesis.

Scholarship Holders


 Ani Mazmanyan

Ani Mazmanyan received a BA degree in management from Yerevan State University. Currently she is doing her Master’s degree in Business Management at Yerevan State University. Her main scientific interests are in the field of neurobranding and neuromarketing. She is now conducting her research about the influence of neuromarketing on humans and their decision making. 

Lilit Iskandaryan

Lilit Iskandaryan is studying for a Master’s Degree in Methodology of Social Studies. She is preparing her MA degree paper on The Pubs of Yerevan as Spaces of Social Inclusion and Exclusion. Lilit has participated in a whole range of research projects at CRRC-Armenia, the Laboratory of Applied Studies at the Sociology Department of Yerevan State University, R-Insights Research and Consulting, and other organizations. In 2016-2017, she worked as a sociologist at the Public Opinion Research Center affiliated with the Public TV and Radio Council of Armenia. Her scientific interests include practical applications of Bourdieu’s structural constructivism and study of social modernization trends in Armenia.
