Job opening for the position of Information Technology (IT) Manager

The Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Caucasus Research Resource Center – Armenia announces job opening for the position of Information Technology (IT) Manager Position

Summary:

Responsibilities will include planning and administration of the development and effective use of CRRC computer facilities (IT lab, offices, library and training facilities), web site and database development, provision of orientation training in information resources and everyday assistance for CRRC clients (social science researchers). An ideal candidate should have a background in IT and experience in social science related program management.
 
Qualifications: 
- Bachelor (university) degree in IT (computer sciences)
- Excellent knowledge of information and communication technologies
- Strong interest in social sciences, and willingness to apply IT skills to database management
- Ability to select, install and maintain software, equipment and communication systems 
- Database programming/designing and website design/development skills (using Visual Basic,
  ADO/DAO, ODBC, MS Access/SQL-server, HTML, PHP, MYSQL)
- Experience with Windows 2003 and ISA 2006 (Internet acceleration and security) proxy based server
  administration.
- Ability to conduct trainings in resource orientation and software application (previous experience in
  working with users within international organizations preferred)
- English and Armenian language proficiency (knowledge of Russian is desirable),
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team.
