The basics of Academic Writing

Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) - Armenia invites you to a workshop on “The basics of Academic Writing” to be delivered by Laurène Aubert, Grenoble Institute of Political Studies (France)

Location: CRRC-Armenia, Room 305, 3rd Floor, 52 Abovyan Street.

General Overview:The workshop will cover the basics of academic writing according to Western standards. The purpose of this workshop is to improve the organizational and writing skills of the participants. Based on an assessment of CRRC fellows' proposals and papers, the workshop aims at improving the writing level of the participants to reach the Western standards of academic writing. The presenter will focus on the format of papers and articles. An active participation of the attendees is required. Proficiency in English is compulsory.

Short Bio: Laurène Aubert is an international intern at CRRC. She is currently finishing her Master in European and International Studies at the Grenoble Institute of Political Studies and she did her first year of Master as an exchange student at the University of Amsterdam. Laurène Aubert wrote her bachelor thesis on the concept of genocide in International law and she is writing her Master's thesis on the relations between the European Union, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
