Orientation training entitled "Quality Online: How to evaluate credibility and value of online information" was conducted by CRRC-Armenia Librarian Gohar Khachatryan and CRRC-Armenia IT Manager Sergey Barkhudaryan on January 31, 2006.

Supporting Social Science Researchers in Armenia

The orientation training on "Supporting Social Science Researchers in Armenia" was held in Ijevan organized by Caucasus Research Resource Centers-Armenia (CRRC-Armenia) and British Council Armenia on November 9, 2005. For promotion of learning opportunities in remote regions of Armenia, information centers of BC-Armenia and CRRC-Armenia were introduced. The presentation was conducted by Anna Arzrumtsyan, CRRC-Armenia Librarian/Information Specialist, and Gayane Khachatryan, BC-Armenia representatives.

The seminar was held at Teachers' Training Institute in Vanadzor organized by Caucasus Research Resource Centers-Armenia (CRRC-Armenia) and British Council Armenia on October 26, 2005. For promotion of learning opportunities in remote regions of Armenia, information centers of BC-Armenia and CRRC-Armenia were introduced. The topic presented by CRRC-Armenia is "Supporting Social Science Researchers in Armenia".  The presentation was conducted by Anna Arzrumtsyan, CRRC-Armenia Librarian/Information Specialist, and Gayane Khachatryan, Naira Abrahamyan, BC-Armenia representatives.


The types, role and importance of citations

CRRC-Armenia held its consecutive orientation training on "The types, role and importance of citations".
The lecturer was Arthur Astzatryan - the information specialist/librarian at CRRC-Armenia.

CRRC-Armenia together with the Pedagogical University of Gyumri organized orientation training on "Supporting Social Science Researchers in Armenia" to present CRRC-Armenia services to the social science researchers and policy practitioners in Gyumri and its vicinity.

Research ethics in social sciences

CRRC-Armenia organized orientation training for its beneficiaries and for those who needed access to the resources of the center. The topic was: "Research ethics in social sciences". The training took place in CRRC-Armenia center at 52 Abovyan St. (3rd floor, room 305).
