Mr. Azer Alasgarov is head of division at Monetary and Rate of Exchange Policy Department at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. In 2000, he received an MA in regulatory economics from Azerbaijan State Econimic University. Before his position as head of division , Mr. Alasgarov served as both leading and chief economist at NBA. Some of his current repsponsibilities include analysis of monetary policy and key credit and monetary indicators and is a senior advisor on monetary policy.
