From 2003, Mr.Basil Zavoico has been serving as Resident Representative for IMF in Azerbaijan. In 1973, Mr. Zavoico received his master’s degree with distinction in development economics from London School of Economics. After a brief time working as a consulting economist for a commercial bank in London, Mr. Zavoico began working for IMF in 1975. His career at IMF has brought him through Africa, The Caribbean, and Eastern Europe. Mr. Zavoico also served as resident representative in Estonia from 1994-1996 and has been resident representative in Azerbaijan from 2003.
