Survey of the Providing Professional Services of Development and Conducting Voter Education programs

Project Description:

The project pursues an overall goal of conducting a survey to assess cumulative impact and efficiency of the voter education and election-support programs of UNDP.

The experts’ team is to develop and apply a set of monitoring indicators to assess:

voters’ access to information about the electoral process,
level of political awareness,
impact of Voter Education on the level of participation,
knowledge of voter registration and electoral procedures,
perceptions and attitude towards the Central Electoral Commission and suggested improvements.

Research Design:

A countrywide survey will be conducted among 1,500 respondents randomly selected from urban and rural areas throughout Armenia to:

Assess the results achieved by the Voter Education programs as a whole, and per project in relation to the outcomes;
Identify and document the factors that had facilitated and/or hindered the achievement of results
Document successfully replicable models / best practices;
State to what extent the above-mentioned programs have addressed gender and youth-related cross-cutting issues
