On June 12, 2008 Artak Dabaghyan, CRRC Armenia Fellow presented findings on his research entitled “Economy, Trade and Ethnicity in Borderlands: Ethnographic Survey in Tavush Region of Armenia.”<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

The ethnographical survey in the Tavush region of Armenia aims to explain how the trade on the Armenian-Georgian-Azerbaijani border affects peoples’ ethnic stereotypes and political attitudes. The study included focus groups and interviews with community members, traders, local administration and NGO representatives, as well as on-site ethnographic observations.<\/div>\n
