Public trust is measured using a five-point scale. The 2024 findings show the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>According to the 2024 data, <strong>40%<\/strong> of respondents do not trust the education system, and this level of distrust has been increasing since 2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to the 2024 data, <strong>49%<\/strong> of respondents do not trust the media. Distrust, which had been gradually increasing since 2012, rose sharply after 2019, reaching 69% in 2021, before declining to 49% in 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only 12% of respondents expressed distrust toward the Church, while <strong>79% <\/strong>reported trusting the institution. Trust remained relatively stable between 2011 and 2019, fluctuating between 75% and 80%, then declined sharply in 2021 to 34%, before rising again to 79% in 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In these publications, we take a closer look at who trusts and distrusts these institutions, and at the socio-economic and demographic groups in which trust and distrust are most strongly concentrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These publications are authored by the Caucasus Research Resource Center-Armenia Foundation, made possible through the support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, within the scopes of the project &#8220;Armenia&#8217;s Pulse: Data Woven into Art.&#8221; Support by the Foundation does not constitute endorsement of any specific opinion, perspective or approach expressed or utilized in this publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The publications use weighted primary data collected through the Caucasus Barometer nationally representative survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Citation example\u2024<\/strong> <br>Caucasus Research Resource Center-Armenia Foundation.
