Julya Sahakyan graduated from the faculty of Oriental studies of the Yerevan State University, and holds an MA degree from the School of Political Science and International Affairs of the American University of Armenia. She also accomplished internships at the Public Affairs Section in US Embassy Armenia, and in Caucasus Institute think-tank.
