Project Description:

The overall goal of the project is to reduce poverty and support integrated and balanced economic development of Tavush Region via provision of consultancies to agribusinesses.

The specific objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of local SMEs (including newly-created SMEs) in Tavush region by developing competencies and skills of local producers and farmers as well as of SMEs staff members in the field of quality management, product design, marketing, agricultural and food processing technologies and production equipment.

Research Design:

Organization and delivery of consultations to the stakeholders in the following consultancy sectors:

  • Quality Management System- the most appropriate International Standard system;
  • Technology of dairy, meat processing, tea production, fruit drying/freezing; poultry, greenhouse farming; operation of production equipment
  • Product/Design Consultations
  • Marketing consultations for horticulture, herbs/tea, meat processing; online marketing resources

Design and printing of materials, handouts and presentations (if applicable) to be provided to all the participants for the consultations;

Provision of all equipment necessary to deliver consultation sessions and preparation of assessment questionnaires.

  • Evaluation Questionnaires/Tests
  • Inception Report, Progress Report and Final Report
