Tigran Melikyan joined the Foundation in February 2023 as a volunteer. Since September 2023, he has served as Associated Researcher at CRRC-Armenia, and since 2026, he has been holding the position of the Foundation’s Fundraising Officer.
At CRRC-Armenia, Tigran contributes to fundraising strategy, project proposal development, public perception surveys, and the preparation of analytical reports on policy-related research. He also plays an active role in editing the outputs of major research projects, including studies in feminist and gender issues as well as youth engagement.
Tigran holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Education from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He specializes in qualitative research, policy analysis, and data interpretation, with particular focus on gender and sexuality, child and youth identity and protection, education, and social inclusion. He has also been active as a youth advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights, and has served as a board member and organizer in various student unions. Tigran is fluent in Dutch and English, and has intermediate proficiency in German and Armenian.
