Project Description

The purpose of the study is to identify public perceptions, expectations, attitudes, knowledge and awareness in Armenia regarding the role, values, strategic goals and functions of the country’s civil society. The CRRC team has developed research tools to conduct participatory research based on high academic standards. The research reveals the ideas, positions and opinions of the citizens of Armenia towards civil society, non-governmental organizations, foundations, and other members of CSOs in the country. Civil society in Armenia has been the target of disinformation attacks, information manipulation and conspiracy theories for quite a long time, particularly in the last few years. This study is aimed at giving an insight on the values and vision in the country and in the public life of the country, on the CSO actors, the opinion of the citizens regarding its role and goals.

The study entails combined analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
