Mariam Arakelyan joined CRRC-Armenia as a Junior Fellow in 2015, has received the position of Research/Program Assistant in 2016, and since 2019 was involved in CRRC as Program Manager and Research Associate. She holds a BA and MA degrees in Political Science with the major of Regional Politics from Yerevan State University. She spent third semester of her Master degree studies at Masaryk University, Czech Republic. She has taken an internship at the Department for Relations with the National Assembly of RA Government. Her research interests include the political processes in the region of South Caucasus with emphasis on conflict resolution and problems concerning the protection of the ethnic minority rights.
